AWARDS PRESENTATION FOR 2011
As you all know by now, our Awards presentation for 2011, will take place in Shoreline Leisure Centre (swimming pool) on Sunday 11th March at 2pm. The coaches are very busy sorting out the awards at present and like last year, there will be awards for Attendance, Attitude & Achievement, our usual awards for 5 year, 10 year membership,  Special Achievement awards and our Athlete of the Year! Goodie bags for the athletes and Tea/Coffee for the adults after the presentations! Do come along and join in the celebrations!
The Club Shop will be open in the hall, before and after the Awards presentation, for anyone who wishes to purchase any club gear!

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Names are urgently needed from athletes intending to walk with the club in the parade this year.

Greystones AC - with almost 200 members is one of the largest atheltic clubs in the Country and we want to make sure everybody knows it!  As this is an Olympic year, it is a very important year for athletics and a year when we should all be making a big effort to promote our own Club.
We need to show that the Club has members of all ages and we would really appreciate it, if all age groups could be there on the day. All our younger athletes really take their lead from the older ones and it would be really good if the older (teenage / young adults) members could help out and show good example to our younger athletes.  Please let coaches know immediately if you want to play your part and support your club!
Please wear your Club Hoodie, Singlet, Tracksuit, Rainjacket or T-shirt for the parade, if you have one. If not, please come dressed in Red. If wearing a T-shirt or singlet, make sure you have something warm on underneath!

The club’s AGM took place  on Thursday 23rd Feb. Please see web-site for list of officers elected. at 7pm.
