Xmas Club Note

Congratulations to Ryan Montgomery who took the Senior men’s cross country title in Avondale, on Sunday. Ryan took the lead half way through the first lap and extended his lead with every lap, to cruise to victory and become the first ever Greystones athlete to win a senior championship.

In the Junior event, our girls team of Ellie Hartnett, Niamh Kearney and Laura Boylan finished in silver medal position, with Ellie & Niamh taking the individual silver and bronze medals.

The relays were very badly supported with only nine Greystones athletes turning out. Teams were organised and all ran well and enjoyed the chocolate afterwards. Medals will be presented at training. Well done to everyone who competed on the day.
