Sun. was Leinster relays held here in Greystones and a huge crowd turned out for the event. Greystones entered 20 teams and most made it to the start line. This is the last request for entries for next Sat for the Leinster U9/10/11 pairs event and the U12 championships and for the junior/U23 championships on Sunday. These are now very late and I am in big trouble with the Leinster board. They have agreed to take them from me only if I get them in immediately, so if you don't get your name to me tonight (Tuesday) it is definitely too late. Athletes competing on Sat. need to be in Tullamore by 9.30am latest and on Sun by 10.30am.
Athletes from U9-U15 who want to take part in the team competition on June 12th should give their names to their coaches by next Tues latest. This is a great event and is being held here in Greystones, so we should be able to get lots of teams out. Each team has 4 athletes who compete in two events each and all four do the relay.
Athletes from U13 to U19, who intend taking part in their Leinster championships on the 19th/20th June should give their names and chosen events to their coaches by the following week.
