CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations go to Padraig Lennon on his fantastic win in the Raheny mile in a superb 4.18. Padraig followed this up a week later with a season opener of 2.02 in the Leinster Junior Indoor 800m, which earned him a bronze medal in the event. Aisling Moore took bronze in the High Jump at the same event and Jack Lacey Curtis finished 5th in his first indoor 3K in 10.28. Meanwhile, Dylan Grimes Larkin was setting a new PB of 31.20 in the Raheny 5 mile with Jackie Patrick running a fantastic 37.46. In Kilruddery on the same day, we had 12 hardy souls taking the Hell & Back Challenge and all survived to tell the tale with some terrific performances all round…… well done to all!
We had some great competition in the Leinster relays, with a number of our teams making the finals and three teams making the rostrum. It was particularly exciting to have three of the six teams in the U15 girls  final wearing GAC colours and taking both silver and bronze medals.  Our U14 girls also took bronze medals, with the boys U12 in 4th and both our girls U16 teams making the final and finishing 4th & 5th.  Well done to all and best of luck to U14’s Alana Ryan, Rachel Diggin, Rachel Purcell Aislinn Smyth & 15’s Lisa Dallaghan, Richael Browne, Rebecca Murphy, Alison Dawson Whelan &  Susie McParland, Hilary Gallagher, Alana Ryan, Rachel Purcell in the All Irelands!

High Jumper, Pippa Rogan finished in the medals at the National Juniors on Sunday last, with all three medalists going out on 1.68m. Well done Pippa!
