REGISTRATION FOR 2014
All athletes, without exception, must now re-register for 2014. Registration will take place during all training sessions next week, times as follows:
Tues. 21st Jan. from 5-8.30pm
Wed. 22nd Jan. from 7-8.30pm
Fri. 24th Jan. from 6-8.30pm
This should allow everybody a chance to get down and these are the only times that registration fees for juvenile athletes can be accepted. Athletes not registered after Fri 24th can not be admitted to the track, as they will no longer be covered by our insurance. Please do not hand Registration fees in to Shoreline reception as they can not be accepted there.
Note that if your name is not on the check-in sheet at the track gate you will not be permitted to enter the track.

HELP NEEDED
Once again we must appeal for help with coaching and with checking-in the athletes.  A few coaches are no longer available to help at the 6-7pm sessions so we are appealing to anyone who is free to help out either Tues or Fri to please contact Theresa @ 0868635797.
A number of parents had taken on the roll of checking in the athletes at the track gate and this was a fantastic help to the coaches, who could then get on with the training session. Unfortunately several have given up and the coaches are back trying to multi-task, especially on Friday’s. If anyone is free to give 20-30mins a week to help with this, please let us know.  It makes a huge difference to the smooth running of our training sessions.

SPORTSHALL
While we were a bit disappointed that more of our young athletes, particularly the U14/15’s, didn’t come along last Sunday, the 86 athletes who turned up for the Sportshall competition in Shoreline had an absolutely fantastic day. We had a very enjoyable competition and a huge amount of fun. Congratulations to all the medal winners and indeed to all who took part. It was great to see such team effort and to watch everyone have so much fun. Many thanks to all the coaches and the older athletes who came along to help run the event with so much enthusiasm.  Thanks also to Inbhear Dee AC who came along and supported the event. We hope you all had a great day.

ADULT RUNNING
Our new BEGINNER2WINNER programme got off to a good start and we are now in our 2nd week. It’s still not too late to come along and join in any Mon or Wed evening at 6pm.
Our regular established Fit4Life sessions will continue as normal Mon/Wed at 8.30pm & Wed/Fri at 10am.  All these are run in conjunction with Shoreline Sports Park, so you don’t have to be a club member.
Our road run continues on Tues evenings at 7.15pm also. This one is for club members, but you are welcome to come along for a trial session before joining.
